Year 5 and 6 enjoyed a share afternoon as parents came to be ‘the dragons’ in a wonderful presentation of children’s work. The children had designed and made a product that would make the lives of people with disabilities easier in some way. Ideas ranged from braille stationery to grabber devices. All the children were very brave and pitched their ideas well to the dragons. Everyone went away with a deal!
Please be aware that on Thursday 17th October we will be holding our At The Market Themed Lunch ( see link below for details). The Chicken and Mushroom Pie WILL NOT be available to order. The School packed lunches, pasta and jacket potato options will remain the same. All Medical Diet menus will remain the same.
Year 5 and 6 had a visit from Mrs Elkins (Science teacher at Litcham High School). She brought in pigs’ hearts for the children to dissect. This was a great follow-on lesson after learning about the heart and the circulatory system in our own Science lessons.
