Lions class watched the short animated film ‘Ian’ based on a true story which explores the issue of being alienated, common to all of us. The film depicts a disabled child fighting a force that pushes him away from what he wants to be and do. We discussed how the film maker used the metaphor of the perimeter fence as a barrier between disabled and able-bodied children.

The children wrote some excellent stories based on the film.
