We all enjoyed a fabulous Sports Day on Thursday – it felt like it had been such a long time since we’ve heard children cheering. Thank you to all parents and family members who came along to support the children, also to all the FONES members and other volunteers who helped ensure the day ran smoothly.

In the morning the children participated in Round Robin events in mixed ages, which ranged from welly wanging to river crossing. We were so impressed with the Year 6s who all helped to support and encourage their younger teammates. In the afternoon, parents arrived to watch the children run in their races. We had obstacle races, sack races, sprints and relays.

Thanks again to all those who helped, and a big well done for Green Team for lifting the trophy this year!
